Eligibility for Members with Foreign Driver Licenses

Who can drive with a foreign driver license on FLUX?
FLUX welcomes users holding valid foreign driver licenses to use our platform in Malaysia, provided they meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Accepted Licenses:

  • Foreign driver licenses issued by countries that are part of the Geneva or Vienna Conventions on Road Traffic.

  • Licenses issued in English or accompanied by an official English translation.

  • International Driving Permits (IDP) where applicable.

Additional Requirements:

  • The license must be valid and unexpired.

  • Users must have held their license for at least one year prior to signup.

Restrictions:

  • Provisional or learner permits are not accepted.

  • Licenses from countries not recognized under Malaysian regulations cannot be used.

  • Users must be at least 21 years old to book vehicles through FLUX.

Do I need a translation or certification?
Yes, if your driver license is not in English, you must provide:

  • An official translation certified by your country’s embassy or consulate, or

  • An International Driving Permit (IDP) as an additional document.

How do I verify my foreign driver license?
During signup or booking, please follow these steps:

    1.

    Upload a clear image of your foreign driver license.

    2.

    Provide a certified translation or IDP, if required.

    3.

    Allow up to 48 hours for verification by our team.
